Standing In Line
2001- Nadi Spencer
Lindsay Community Theater, 190 North Elmwood

The mural faces towards Samoa, and turns the corner to face Elmwood. The design concept includes images directly related to the early days of the Lindsay Community Theater depicting average, everyday people standing in line waiting to get into the theater.

As you drive by the theater, it actually appears that people are truly waiting in line, and you almost ask yourself, “I wonder what theater production is playing?”

Nadi Spencer also painted “The Soda Fountain” located at 295 W. Hermosa.

The mural is approximately 7 feet in height and 46 feet in width.
